Jurassic World Trailer: Fallen Kingdom movie release - How and when to watch online

JURASSIC WORLD: FALLEN KINGDOM TRAILER UPDATE

The trailer is now LIVE and available to watch above. It's also revealed that the film will be released by Universal Pictures June 7th, 2018.

Directed by J.A. Bayona (The Impossible), the epic action-adventure is written by Jurassic World’s director, Trevorrow, and its co-writer, Derek Connolly.

Chris Pratt and Bryce Howard are joined by co-stars James Cromwell, Ted Levine, Justice Smith, Geraldine Chaplin, Daniella Pineda, Toby Jones, Rafe Spall, while BD Wong and Jeff Goldblum reprise their roles.

The Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom trailer will be revealed in just a couple of hours and all signs so far are promising a bigger, better more terrifying film that the original Jurassic World movie.

Chris Pratt is back once more as dinosaur trainer Owen Grady, this time with the intent of preventing the extinction of the dinosaurs when a volcanic eruption threatens the remaining dinosaurs on the island of Isla Nublar.

A teaser has already been revealed but the official trailer release date and time will debut exclusively during Thursday Night Football on NBC, during the New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Falcons game.

The game begins at 8:25pm EST/5:25pm PST, which for us UK folk will be 1:25am GMT.

Coverage of the game will start about an hour earlier at 7:30pm EST and given the way football games usually proceed, there's no set release time to pin your hat on.

That's because unlike UK Football (Soccer, as Yanks might call it) the game has multiple ad breaks throughout at.

Film bloggers Screenrant think they know when the trailer could drop though.

"The obvious positioning would be during the half-time; that’s when Star Wars dropped the trailers for both The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi during Monday Night Football in 2015 and 2017 respectively.

"However, there’s reason to doubt that for Jurassic World. On Thanksgiving 2014, the first trailer for the previous movie was likewise revealed during TNF, but at the earlier, mid-game slot of 9pm EST/6pm PST.

"Considering how popular that preview proved to be, it would be unlikely to expect a change: dependent on game stoppages".

Only time will tell, but obviously anyone in the UK won't be able to watch via NBC and the Thursday night game. So keep reading for details on how you can make sure you don't miss the trailer when it drops.

HOW TO WATCH JURASSSIC WORLD 2 TRAILER ONLINE?

For starters, you can be sure that Jurassic World's own social channels, such as their Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Tumblr channels will all be simultaneously updated with the new trailer the second that it's available.

Likewise, you'll no doubt be able to find the trailer on Universal's own YouTube channel and if you subscribe to the channel you'll get a notification on your email, phone and desktop as soon as it's uploaded.

Outside of this, you can guarantee that Daily Star Online will also have the new trailer available to watch as soon as it becomes available.

However, you can already get a great behind the scenes look at the upcoming dinosaur packed film via the behind the scenes featurette below.

Bryce Taylor Howard promises “This story takes dinosaurs and takes Jurassic where it’s never gone before," while Chris Pratt adds: “We’re literally blowing up the island.”

There's also our first glimpse of Jeff Goldblum reprising his role of Dr Ian Malcolm.

Writer of Fallen Kingdom, and director of 2015's Jurassic World Colin Trevorrow, also mentions during the clip:

'For kids growing up loving dinosaurs, the Jurassic movies are really the vehicle for them to see their dreams realised.'

While one of the filmmakers also boasts “On this movie you will see more dinosaurs than you’ve ever seen before.”

He's not lying. For the good of the film, the vast majority of the dinosaurs are impressive looking animatronics instead of horrible, easy to spot CGI.

Stay tuned for more details in a couple of hours when the trailer finally drops.
