To celebrate the release of Jumanji, a mobile game tie in will be available on both Android and iOS launching on December 14, just a couple of days ahead of the movie's debut.
Based on the info we gathered, Jumanji: The Mobile Game takes inspiration from the original movie and combines elements of both a board game and Collectible Card Game (CCG), it will also feature caricature versions of the characters from the new movie, such as Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Jack Black.
The game has a PvP mode where you can take on your opponents in real time and compete for control over key areas of the jungle. Players must optimize their deck to face each encounter, as the right skill card will provide the best advantage and strategies to defeat other players.
You can choose up to four avatars and will get to unlock several maps, skills and cards as you progress further in the game. Jumanji: The Mobile Game also comes with a Clan feature where players can stay united with friends to fight against foes. Clan members are able to share cards and strategies and compete for top spts in the Rank Leaderboard.
The game is free (with in-app purchases), and is already soft launched in Thailand and Canada, so if you're there, you can already try out the game on any iOS device.
