Should the Disney/Fox deal happen, Chris Evans jokingly suggested a spin-off movie where he plays both Captain America and Human Torch.
Evans pitched the idea on Twitter, noting he has a particular genre in mind for the film. "So who do I talk to about a Cap/Human Torch buddy comedy spin-off?" Evans tweeted. "I'm thinking Planes, Trains and Automobiles meets Parent Trap."
Evans portrayed Human Torch in 20th Century Fox's 2005 and 2007 Fantastic Four movies before joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe a few years later as Captain America. Evans' pitch comes in the wake of recent reports suggesting Disney is closing in on a deal to buy most of Fox and gaining the rights to Fantastic Four.
Fans can still watch Evans portray Captain America once again when Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters on May 4, 2018.
