'SANCHEZ NOT WORTHY OF PLACE'

Speaking on Soccer Special,Charlie Nicholas says Alexis Sanchez does not deserve to be in the Man Utd side at the minute...

"At the start of the season, Manchester United had a fluencyto them. Pogba played high up with Lingard behind him and Lukaku on his game.

"All of a sudden Sanchez comes, Rashford gets dropped out andMartial gets moved over. All of a sudden the whole team is getting squeezed tofit Sanchez in.

"Sanchez, at the moment, does not deserve to be in the team. It’s too individual. He is giving the ball away too often."

WHAT AN ENTRANCE...

With his first touches, he scored. Then scored a second three minutes later. And could have had an unprecedented hat-trick late on!

What would the score have been if Ben Yedder had been on the pitch from minute one?!

SUPER SUB!

'UNITED DESERVE BETTER'

Gerard Brand moderator 5pts

MOURINHO NOT HAPPY

Mourinho was moaning at only four minutes being added on.. you've had three hours, Jose!

Gerard Brand moderator 5pts

MAN UTD 1-2 SEVILLA (AGG: 1-2)

FT: Wow. United second best in every way tonight. That goalless draw in Sevilla was not as fruitful as it seemed, with sub Wissam Ben Yedder completely stunning Old Trafford here.

It's a wretched performance, a calamity for United, and one of the worst nights in their long European history.

Some soul-searching to come after this. And a cagey Jose Mourinho press conference, no doubt. Sheesh...

MAN UTD 1-2 SEVILLA (AGG: 1-2)

90+2: SAVE! Ben Yedder, for the hat-trick... surely! De Gea gets down well to save one-on-one! What a bizarre final 20 minutes we've had here.

You could have driven a bus through United's defence, there.

MAN UTD 1-2 SEVILLA (AGG: 1-2)

90+1: Four minutes added on. Jose is fuming. Then Pogba passes the ball out of play.

Woeful...

Gerard Brand moderator 5pts

MAN UTD 1-2 SEVILLA (AGG: 1-2)

90: Ben Yedder is booked for a cheeky foul, before Geis replaces Correa for the final few minutes.

Still two goals needed.

Gerard Brand moderator 5pts

MAN UTD 1-2 SEVILLA (AGG: 1-2)

88: Flat ball from Sanchez, Rashford gets up well, but it's a yard or so wide of Rico's right-hand post!

Gerard Brand moderator 5pts

MAN UTD 1-2 SEVILLA (AGG: 1-2)

86: United pushing! Martial half rounds the goalkeeper, but he's at an acute angle, and his centre is cleared by Lenglet!

Gerard Brand moderator 5pts

GOAL! MAN UTD 1-2 SEVILLA (Lukaku 84)

One back, they need two more!

Rashford whips in a corner, Lukaku is there at close range, and slams home past Rico! He's had a good game, in fairness.

A roar goes around Old Trafford... surely not!

Gerard Brand moderator 5pts

MAN UTD 0-2 SEVILLA (AGG: 0-2)

84: MISS! Mata squares for Lukaku, who must score, but Lenglet does enough to put the Belgian off and it goes over the bar!

Gerard Brand moderator 5pts

MAN UTD 0-2 SEVILLA (AGG: 0-2)

82: CHANCE! Nearly a third! Correa shoots across goal, De Gea saves, and then Smalling blocks Ben Yedder's rebound!

Gerard Brand moderator 5pts

MAN UTD 0-2 SEVILLA (AGG: 0-2)

80: CHANCE! How has Smalling not scored? It's a Rashford free-kick to the far post, Smalling is onto it, but he doesn't make contact with just Rico to beat!

Gerard Brand moderator 5pts

GOAL! MAN UTD 0-2 SEVILLA (Ben Yedder 77)

It's a nightmare. United are shocked. They're heading out.

Ben Yedder is at the back post from a Correa cross from the left flank, it's a rather weak header to goal, but as De Gea looks to tip it over, he touches it onto the bar and it just crosses the line, thanks to help from the ref's assistant.

Wow, again.

Gerard Brand moderator 5pts

MAN UTD 0-1 SEVILLA (AGG: 0-1)

76: No fluency, no pace, no fight about United in this game. They've deserved this, and there will be some inquest about this, barring a huge turnaround.

GOAL! MAN UTD 0-1 SEVILLA (Ben Yedder 74)

Oh my, it has been coming. Jose Mourinho's Man Utd are heading out here.

Banega turns in midfield and feeds Sarabia, who looks up and finds Ben Yedder in the box. With his first touch he finds a yard, Bailly isn't close enough, and he hits a superb effort into the bottom right corner past De Gea!

Wow, wow, wow. United need TWO goals!

MAN UTD 0-0 SEVILLA (AGG: 0-0)

73: Pogba lets fly on his left foot from way out, but it doesn't curl enough and goes a couple yards wide of Rico's right-hand post.

Sevilla sub: Muriel, who hasn't been clinical, is replaced by Ben Yedder.

Gerard Brand moderator 5pts

MAN UTD 0-0 SEVILLA (AGG: 0-0)

71: So sloppy from United; Young gives the ball away, De Gea comes to the rescue to stop Correa's dangerous cross, and the crowd are very restless.

Gerard Brand moderator 5pts

MAN UTD 0-0 SEVILLA (AGG: 0-0)

69: Free-kick in a useful position for Sevilla. Sarabia over it, curls to the back post, but nobody in a Sevilla shirt is deep enough to turn it home.

His team-mates have made that look like an awful ball... it's not.

Gerard Brand moderator 5pts

MAN UTD 0-0 SEVILLA (AGG: 0-0)

67: Rashford dusts himself down to shoot, but he curls it high, wide and handsome. Poor.

Gerard Brand moderator 5pts

MAN UTD 0-0 SEVILLA (AGG: 0-0)

66: Rashford slips past Mercado, and wins a free-kick on the edge of the box. Shooting chance?

Gerard Brand moderator 5pts

MAN UTD 0-0 SEVILLA (AGG: 0-0)

63: United with a lot of the ball in the last 10 minutes, but Sevilla still standing firm, and Old Trafford still very anxious.

Gerard Brand moderator 5pts

MAN UTD 0-0 SEVILLA (AGG: 0-0)

61: Pogba tries to pick up Lukaku in the box, on the half volley from close range, but Lenglet does well to block it!

Gerard Brand moderator 5pts

MAN UTD 0-0 SEVILLA (AGG: 0-0)

59: First United change. Fellaini makes way, and Pogba is on!

Gerard Brand moderator 5pts

MAN UTD 0-0 SEVILLA (AGG: 0-0)

56: CLOSE! Muriel attacks a cross from the right, Sarabia with the dangerous ball in, and it is bundled just wide! United living very dangerously.

Gerard Brand moderator 5pts

MAN UTD 0-0 SEVILLA (AGG: 0-0)

54: Nice feet from Correa to get past two United players in the box, but his low effort is weak and goes a yard wide of De Gea's left-hand post.

Gerard Brand moderator 5pts

MAN UTD 0-0 SEVILLA (AGG: 0-0)

52: SAVE! Good effort, good save! Lukaku does really well to battle with the ball and feed Lingard, again at an acute angle.

He goes for goal, and Rico does really well to tip it away!

Rashford's cross-shot flashes across goal, but Sevilla survive.

Gerard Brand moderator 5pts

MAN UTD 0-0 SEVILLA (AGG: 0-0)

50: It's quiet, dare I say anxious, inside Old Trafford at the moment. Remember, a Sevilla goal means United must score two.

Gerard Brand moderator 5pts

MAN UTD 0-0 SEVILLA (AGG: 0-0)

48: WHAT A CHALLENGE! United out of jail! Sarabia squares for Correa inside the box, he turns well and has a lot of the goal to aim at, 15 yards out...

But Bailly appears out of nowhere to slide in and dispossess! Superb tackle, before Vazquez slams over the bar.

Huge sigh of relief for United.

Gerard Brand moderator 5pts

MAN UTD 0-0 SEVILLA (AGG: 0-0)

47: In 2 hrs 15 mins of football against Sevilla, United have had TWO shots on target.

Gerard Brand moderator 5pts

MAN UTD 0-0 SEVILLA (AGG: 0-0)

46: Back under way, but no changes. United have to improve, drastically. Surely Jose gave them a stern talking to at half-time...

In-play Price Boosts

Will we get a goal at Old Trafford? Lukaku & Rashford have looked the most likely and both are the subject of enhanced odds..

Lukaku to score first (90 mins) - from 4/1 to 11/2
Rashford to score in 90 minutes - from 9/2 to 5/1

MAN UTD 0-0 SEVILLA (AGG: 0-0)

HT: That's the half. In truth, it has been really disappointing.

United have been sluggish, and though Sevilla have impressed in midfield, they haven't picked the right pass in the final third.

Perhaps a change from Jose at half time is on the cards.

Gerard Brand moderator 5pts

MAN UTD 0-0 SEVILLA (AGG: 0-0)

45: Fellaini wins the first ball, but Sanchez is dispossessed as he makes that trademark run across the face of the box.

Gerard Brand moderator 5pts

MAN UTD 0-0 SEVILLA (AGG: 0-0)

43: Lingard gets in behind on the right, and wins a corner. Rashford takes, Vazquez gets it away, but United look to build again... Sevilla pinned back.

Gerard Brand moderator 5pts

MAN UTD 0-0 SEVILLA (AGG: 0-0)

41: Much, much better! Fellaini has a go from range, it smashes off Banega's back, and then Lingard fouls in the box. The game being played in Sevilla's half now.

Gerard Brand moderator 5pts

MAN UTD 0-0 SEVILLA (AGG: 0-0)

39: Corner comes in, Sanchez flicks it on, and after some pinball Sevilla clear. Better.

Gerard Brand moderator 5pts

MAN UTD 0-0 SEVILLA (AGG: 0-0)

37: SAVE! First real chance for United, with Sevilla fast asleep! Fellaini has it on the edge, feeds Sanchez, and he returns the favour into the box..

It's Fellaini, at an angle on his left foot, but Rico beats it away well for a corner!

Gerard Brand moderator 5pts

MAN UTD 0-0 SEVILLA (AGG: 0-0)

34: This has been a really poor half from United. Possession has been 50/50, and Sevilla have had the ball in dangerous areas.

Banega from range, but miles wide. United need to up their game.

Gerard Brand moderator 5pts

MAN UTD 0-0 SEVILLA (AGG: 0-0)

31: Lovely feet from Rashford, getting the crowd on their feet, but it ends up in a Sevilla throw.

Gerard Brand moderator 5pts

MAN UTD 0-0 SEVILLA (AGG: 0-0)

29: The ball falls kindly to Rashford with Lukaku running off him into the box. He's SO close to finding him with a drilled ball, but it runs through the striker's legs and through to Rico!

Better tempo from United.

Gerard Brand moderator 5pts

MAN UTD 0-0 SEVILLA (AGG: 0-0)

27: Sevilla getting closer and closer. Sarabia feeds Muriel on the left of the box, at a bit of an angle, and he drags his effort a couple yards wide!

Gerard Brand moderator 5pts

MAN UTD 0-0 SEVILLA (AGG: 0-0)

25: Corner to United, Rashford takes, but N'Zonzi clears, before Smalling is caught offside from the return ball.

Gerard Brand moderator 5pts

MAN UTD 0-0 SEVILLA (AGG: 0-0)

23: Lukaku has played well so far, holding the ball up and releasing Young and then Sanchez, but the final ball through to Lingard is poor.
