- End of 2nd Half
Ademola Lookman's brace helps Everton finally got off the mark in the Europa League as they ease past Apollon Limassol in Cyprus to end Group E on a high.
We are into the first of two additional minutes.
Alexander Denny, 17, will make a brief appearance as he replaces Charsley.
Sixteen-year-old Anthony Gordon replaces Mirallas for his debut. What a night for the youngster.
GOAL! Vlasic grabs Everton's third!
Vlasic wins the ball in midfield and races towards goal with lightening speed before slotting the ball between the legs of Kissas and into the back of the net.
A terrific solo effort.
Everton in complete control as we approach the full time whistle. It has been a productive night for Big Sam's fringe players.
Broadhead makes an immediate impression as the young Welshman shows terrific skill on the by-line and finds Vlasic but he takes a heavy touch and the chance is gone.
Finally Everton make a change and Nathan Broadhead will be given an opportunity for the final 10 minutes. The 19-year-old replaces fellow youngster Hornby.
Yellow cardEsteban SachettiApollon Limassol
Sachetti goes into the book for a foul in midfield.
The ball ends up amongst the travelling away supporters and it is quickly thrown back onto the field. However, one fan is furious with his friend for surrendering the ball and appears to push him! Hilarious stuff.
OffNicolás MartínezApollon Limassol
OnIoannis PittasApollon Limassol
The home side make their third and final change as Martinez makes way for Pittas.
The game is rather petering out as we draw to a close. I am amazed that Everton have yet to make a substitute. Perhaps Big Sam is finding it difficult to communicate from England?!
Yellow cardBeni BaningimeEverton
Mirallas is fouled and then there are some handbags between players from both sides. Baningime ends up in the referee's book.
Mirallas' first touch creates an opening inside the home side's box but his effort is straight down the middle and Kissas makes a decent save with his feet.
Everton's youngsters almost combine at the other end! Charsley drives down the left flank and almost picks out Hornby at the near post, but the forward just couldn't reach the cross.
Feeney is well positioned and rises highest to head a dangerous cross into the arms of his own goalkeeper Robles. The youngster has been solid in Everton's defence.
Lookman shows quick feet to ghost past his marker and passes into the path of Hornby. He feeds the ball back to Vlasic but his cross is played straight into the arms of Kissas.
Pitian is in some pain and will require treatment. Apollon may be forced into their third and final change.
OffAndre SchembriApollon Limassol
OnEmilio ZelayaApollon Limassol
The hosts make a double change as Schembri and Adrian make way for Zelaya and Jakolis.
The last meeting between the sides ended in a 2-2 draw but it is unlikely we will see a repeat of that scoreline this evening. However, if the hosts managed to grab a goal this tie would become much more interesting.
Up steps Pedro... but he blasts a low free-kick straight into the wall. He unloads from the follow-up but once again it is blocked by the Everton defenders.
Klaassen handles the ball right on the edge of the box and the hosts have a free-kick in dangerous territory...
CHANCE FOR LOOKMAN'S HAT-TRICK!
Lookman goes by Pitian with a step-over but instead of cutting the ball back to a team mate, he opts to shoot from a tight angle and Kissas blocks the effort.
Hornby makes a clever run into space but Klaassen fails to pick him out with his dinked pass as an Apollon defender intervenes.
I don't mean to distract you from this gripping encounter, but it has just been announced that Cristiano Ronaldo has been awarded an historic fifth Ballon d'Or.
Ballon d'Or 2017: Cristiano Ronaldo claims historic fifth Ballon d'Or ahead of Lionel Messi
Apollon continue to apply pressure on the visitors as they win a free-kick and then a corner but Everton are able to defend both set-pieces.
The referee waves away yet another penalty appeal from the home side as Besic appears to handle the ball inside the box.
Apollon have started the second period brightly as Robles is forced into an early stop. Allan powers a shot at goal but the Everton goalkeeper pushed it clear.
- 2nd Half
Apollon get the second half underway. There were no changes made in personnel by either side at the break.
- End of 1st Half
Everton's second string lead comfortably at the break thanks to a double from Lookman.
Just the one minute added.
Besic lunges in on Joao Pedro inside the box, but the referee isn't moved! The home supporters are furious.
Everton play a corner short and end up squandering possession. There will be little, if any, additional time to be played at the end of the first half.
Papoulis staggers his way into the Everton box but screws his shot wide. He was off-balance and put off by the presence of Schneiderlin.
Mirallas spins away from a defender and finds Vlasic in space on the right side of the penalty box. He rifles a shot at goal but it's straight at Kissas who saves with his feet.
They will be delighted with their side's performance in the first half.
A let off for Everton, as the replays shows Papoulis was only fractionally offside.
Apollon have the ball in the back of the net... but it won't count! Sardinero's swings a free-kick into the box and Papoulis glances a header past Robles - but he mis-timed his run.
It is fair to say that some of Everton's fringe players are staking their claim out there. Mirallas, Klaassen and Lookman have all stood out thus far.
Mirallas collects and runs into an acre of space before rifling a shot at goal from 20 yards. It drifts inches wide of the post, however.
Apollon have responded well, however. Papoulis is teed up for a shot from the edge of the penalty area but Robles is equal to his curled effort and Apollon fail to create a chance from the resulting corner.
Everton played a total of 26 passes before Lookman's shot. They are playing with a lot of confidence.
GOAL! Lookman with a stunner!
After a long spell of possession, Lookman has had enough and smashes an effort from 25 yards and to his surprise it finds the net!
The goalkeeper gets a touch but couldn't keep it out.
Everton in total control of possession now and hoping to build on a positive start. They are targeting a third successive victory.
Sachetti fouls Mirallas behind and the Everton forward isn't one bit amused. He rejects Sachetti's offer of a handshake and instead slaps his shinpad!
So Everton's bright start has been rewarded. Big Sam will be delighted.
GOAL! Everton are ahead!
Lookman was denied earlier on by the goalkeeper but he can't do anything about this effort. Mirallas plays a neat one-two with Vlasic and then picks out Lookman with a cross to the back post, with the midfielder heading the ball into the roof of the net.
He has been Everton's stand out player, thus far.
Charsley can only half clear from a cross into the Everton six yard box. Sachetti unloads from the follow up but it's a comfortable save for Robles.
The resulting set-piece fails to trouble the home side's defence.
Klaassen has been lively thus far. He shows quick feet to find space to deliver a cross and Pedro is forced to head behind for an Everton corner.
Besic runs into trouble on the edge of his own penalty area but Everton go unpunished as Jander skies his effort into row-Z.
Lookman loses his footing as he receives a pass from Klaassen and the hosts have a throw-in, but Everton are beginning to settle into the match now.
Charsley almost marks his debut with an early goal! He is teed up for a shot by Lookman and he tries to curl the ball into the top corner, but Kissas does well to make a fingertip save.
A beautiful through ball from Klaasen picks out Lookman who times his run to perfection. His first touch takes him slightly wide but he cuts back onto his stronger right foot but sees his effort from point-blank range well saved by Kissas.
Thornaby's advances are halted as he goes to ground. It looks like a foul but again the referee allows play to continue.
Big Sam is presumably watching from his TV at home and will be fuming with his side's defending.
Everton are carved open at the back all too easily, but Papoulis spurns the opportunity as he slips at the crucial moment and sends it over the bar.
Mirallas goes on a fine run but is bundled over as he bursts into the box and the ball rolls out for a goal-kick. His half-hearted appeals for a penalty are waved away by the referee.
Everton survive a slight mix up at the back as Robles uses his feet to deal with a through ball instead of his hands but is bailed out by his defence who scramble clear.
- 1st Half
We are underway in Cyprus.
It is worth nothing that Apollon's starting line-up includes the Brazilian Allan - who is on loan from Liverpool.
The players are making their way out onto the pitch meaning kick-off is only a matter of moments away. Can Everton's second-string end their woeful European campaign on a high or will Apollon pile more misery on the Toffees?
How it stands in Group E before kick-off:
1. Atalanta - 11; 2. Lyon - 11; 3. Apollon - 3; 4. Everton - 1.
So tonight's game is a dead rubber for both sides but try telling Everton's fringe players; the youngsters will be out to prove a point.
In the Europa League only, no English side have ever failed to win a group stage match in a single campaign.
No pressure, Everton.
DID YOU KNOW?
The Toffees will be just the second English side to visit Apollon Limassol in European competition after Liverpool in a first round Cup Winners’ Cup tie in September 1992, with the Reds winning 2-1.
LAST TIME OUT
Everton slump to draw against 10-man Apollon Limassol
None of Everton's subs have ever made a first-team appearance.
The only initiative for Everton tonight (if you can label it that) is that they can leapfrog Apollon into third place with a victory.
The Toffees have picked up just one point so far in the competition, losing four out of five games in the group stages.
First-team coaches Craig Shakespeare and Duncan Ferguson are in charge for this evening's dead rubber.
"Sam will be back at the training ground on Thursday and Friday," said Shakespeare.
"He had a prior medical arrangement and he had to keep to that. It's nothing too serious.
"I will speak to Sam tomorrow about how we will communicate during the game, see what he wants to do and get some clarity on that."
Sam Allardyce is not present in Cyprus this evening because of a "pre-arranged medical appointment" and many other familiar faces on the playing staff also miss out.
Everton make ELEVEN changes in total, with Fraser Hornby and Harry Charsley both set for their debut.
Meanwhilel, Nikola Vlasic starts for the first time since October, while Davy Klaassen and Kevin Mirallas are also in the side.
Obviously Allardyce has one eye on the Merseyside Derby on Sunday...
