Barcelona pull plug on £45m prospect leaving Premier clubs on high alert

Barcelona have pulled the plug from their reported interest in 21-year-old Brazilian sensation Arthur Melo.

According to Marca , the Gremio midfielder had been linked with a move to the Camp Nou but the Catalans are reportedly quaffing at his release clause.

They had been willing to pay £35m for his services, but the Brazilian outfit want £45m.

That will come as a blow to the midfielder who has been pictured in a Barca shirt.

This news has put Premier League clubs on high alert as the much coveted youngster looks to make his name in Europe.

All the big guns are keen on him, with Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool all tracking the exciting prospect.
