Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde is remaining coy over a possible move for Philippe Coutinho.
The Catalan giants are growing increasingly confident they will be able to lure the Brazilian away from Anfield this month.
Barca had three bids rejected for Coutinho in the summer but are ready to return with a £133m bid.
Despite speculation he has played his last game for Liverpool, Valverde is giving nothing away.
"Coutinho plays for another team and he is a great player for that team. If he plays for Barca in the future or not, I don't know," he said in his press conference ahead of the clash with Celta Vigo.
"I like the players I have in my team and if another one comes in the future, I'm sure he has to be a very good player, too.
"Sometimes I come in here and I learn about things that are happening; whether they're true or not, I don't know."
Barca have also been boosted by the return to fitness of Ousmane Dembele after a lengthy injury lay-off.

On the Frenchman, Valverde added: "He's an important member of our team. He got injured just as he was getting adapted so he really has to do that all over again.
"He's been doing that in training and now we have to see him do it in competitive matches. January will be a very important part of his adaptation process."
