Arsenal fans delighted to see 'injured man' in starting XI for Chelsea game

The German passed a fitness test ahead of Arsenal's Premier League clash with London rivals Chelsea

Arsenal fans are delighted to see Mesut Ozil in the starting XI for their Premier League grudge match with Chelsea.

The German was an injury doubt going into the game amid reports of a knee injury, but was passed fit to play on Wednesday morning.

He lines up in a formidable front three that includes Alexis Sanchez and Alexandre Lacazette for the must-win match at the Emirates.

Jack Wilshere has also kept his place in the middle of the park, after impressing for the Gunners in recent weeks.

But Arsenal are without Laurent Koscielny, who, like Ozil, was a doubt ahead of the game after he was forced off in the draw with West Brom.

Chelsea could go ten points clear of Arsenal if they win this Wednesday.

But in recent fixtures between the two sides it has been the Gunners who have come out on top more often than not.

Chelsea drew with Arsenal at Stamford Bridge, in their first Premier League game with them this season, after losing to them in both the Community Shield at the start of this campaign, and the FA Cup, at the close of the last one.

And it seems Arsenal fans are confident of getting a result over the Blues once again, what with Ozil in the starting XI.
