Samantha Fitzpatrick, 28, had a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old boy while she taught at Ripon High School between 2016 and 2017, according to a police report.

She quickly resigned from her post May as rumours circulated that she “had done stuff” with the teen at her Wisconsin home.

Cops were later tipped off about the alleged tryst, which led to another teacher to reveal she had confronted Fitzpatrick about the romp.

But at the time the teacher rubbished the rumours and said: “I could not see how they would say this”.

Officers soon discovered a string of x-rated Facebook messages and texts between the two, which included detailed “role-playing and sex” fantasies.

It is estimated the pair also spoke to one another over the phone 67 times.

The boy told detectives Fitzpatrick gave him car rides, but denied the two had a sexual relationship.

Ripon High School sent out a message to parents about the investigation.

It read: “We are sharing this information with all district parents today as we are aware the investigation involving former employee Samantha Fitzpatrick is complete and a criminal complaint with charges has been issued.

“We have just received this information and will respond once we have an opportunity to review and understand the criminal complaint.”

Fitzpatrick has since been charged with sexual assault, child enticement, exposing a child to harmful materials and obstructing a police officer.

If found guilty of all four charges she could face a lengthy jail-term of 35 years.
