Liana Klevtsova, 21, wore just a pair of trainers in the brutal Siberian winter conditions of Russia.
The stunt was a brazen attempt to persuade people to ditch real Christmas trees and swap them for artificial ones.
She said: "In order to create the holiday spirit, it is not necessary to cut down trees. It is better to decorate a real one in the forest.
"For the home, the market is full of artificial beauties for any pocket and taste.
“This is why we decided to show our own experience”Model
"This is why we decided to show our own experience - how it is possible to have a bright and pretty party during the holiday season, while keeping the trees alive."
Footage captures Liana being driven to the scene in an SUV before jumping out in the bitter cold.
She then kicks off her shoes to stand barefoot, before being covered in snow after shaking a tree.
Her antics were met with praise by environmental protestors.

One said: "You are cool. Well done."
Another added: "Thank you very much Liana.
"The entire forest is grateful to you. We liked it all."
It is not the first time Liana has got her kit off in protest, after she ditched her kit to oppose fur farms and rising prices, along with support for lorry drivers opposing new taxes.
