Shoppers at the Lincolnshire Co-op on Brant Road, Lincoln, were left bemused after being greeted by the man wheeling around an enormous set of speakers.

Clutching a black microphone, the tattooed Borat fan twerks, twists and trots down the fruit and veg aisle before being asked to leave.

With one final bottom shake in the direction of a bewildered employee, the man struts out wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas.

He then enters two other stores - with what looks like a Santa beard draped over his manhood - before calling it a night.

The clip, seemingly filmed by a friend, begins with the prankster strolling through the store car park nonchalantly playing on his phone.

Dragging the sound system - complete with flashing disco lights - he shouts 'Happy New Year!' at a man leaving the store with his shopping.

Wearing nothing but the iconic flimsy outfit - famously worn by Sacha Baron Cohen while depicting his Kazakh comedy character Borat - a camouflage baseball cap and socks and trainers, he strolls in with the music blaring.

The bearded joker then walks away from the cameraman down the milk aisle before dramatically spinning round just as the chorus of the popular tune is about to begin.

Bringing the microphone to his mouth with a flourish, he launches into an enthusiastic dance, shaking his hips from side to side and gyrating furiously.

He then calmly picks up his speakers and wheels them round to the next aisle, trotting like a horse.

But as he rounds the corner, his festive spree appears to be under threat as a concerned employee walks towards him, gesturing to say he should leave the store.

Seeing him approaching, the daring dancer twizzles his hips and blares 'Hey, sexy lady!', thrusting his crotch in the worker's direction.

Though visibly disappointed to be ejected, the man complies, giving the bemused employee one final display of his dancing ability.

Undeterred by his unwelcome reception at the store, he struts through the car park again with the music still playing and the disco lights reflecting off his bare posterior.

Making his way into a second nearby store, he sets down the speakers and gives a new audience of shoppers a treat by body-rolling next to the checkouts.

A giggling child can be seen guffawing as the man swiftly exits, saying to an employee as he leaves: 'Just to let you know, I have no idea who these kids are that are following me.'

The clip ends with the Borat wannabe approaching a Betfred bookies as his army of adoring fans follow, before shaking his manhood at the doorway shouting: 'Have a good Christmas!'

Ben Watson, who was shopping at the time, told Lincolnshire Live it is not something that happens everyday.

'Me and my brother were in the queue and could hear loud music outside, then the doors opened and this geezer walked in with Gangnam Style blasting out,' he said.

'My first reaction was 'is this actually happening', then I thought 'I have to film this'.

'I have seen people do it on videos on the internet, but I didn't think I'd see someone do it in person.'

Many people have taken to social media to comment on the video.

One person wrote: 'This is hilarious.'

Another commented: 'Keeping it classy as usual.'

It is not clear who the man is or whether he was under the influence of alcohol when he began his scantily-clad escapade.
