They're gearing up for some of the toughest matches of the year.

But none of the International tennis pros who arrived in Melbourne on Sunday looked worried as they were snapped at Crown Casino wearing cocktail dresses and button up shirts.

Looking her usual sultry best was Canadian player Eugenie Bouchard, who rose to fame recently by taking a fan who asked her out over Twitter on a date.

The 23-year-old blonde bombshell looked confident in a tiny black mini skirt and black crop top, which she paired with sky-high heels.

Genie, as she has been nicknamed, took John Goehrke to a basketball game in Madison Square Garden after he correctly guessed the Patriots would beat the Falcons at last year's Superbowl.

The date appeared to go well as John met up with the young star a second time weeks later - with Genie posting a photo to her Instagram account to prove it.

Former world number one Caroline Wozniacki followed a similar colour scheme as Genie and wore a lacy black number for the cocktail event.

She kept her hair simple, styling it in loose curls and accessorised with a large gold bangle, her fiancé David Lee attending the star-studded event by her side.

David, who is an NBA player, towered over his 'soulmate' in a navy blue jumper and cream coloured trousers.

They were joined by Stan Wawrinka, David Ferrer and Gael Monfils who kept things casual in blue ensembles.
