While the holiday season is upon us, it may or may not feel like the season is truly upon us until we get our Christmas trees up and decorated. So while you may be out tree hunting even though the weather for many Americans hasn’t turned to fluffy white snowflakes just yet, Starbucks still has you covered with a cold beverage that’s perfect for the occasion. The Christmas Tree Frappuccino not only includes the flavors of Christmas cheer but also looks like a tree itself.
The limited-edition frappuccino is a Peppermint Mocha Creme base that represents the trunk of the tree. To get the green part atop that, Starbucks is using matcha whipped cream in the familiar conical swirl to emulate the shape of an evergreen. That “tree is decorated with a “garland” of caramel sauce and ornaments that are actually candied cranberries. To top it off, the tree topper is a slice of strawberry.
The new drink is available beginning Thursday, December 7 and will be on the menu through Monday, December 11 at participating stores in the U.S. and Canada. That’s right, unlike the fir you’ve set up in the living room, this tree is only going to last a few days.

The Christmas Tree Frappuccino joins a few other holiday beverages at the coffee chain. Earlier this fall, Starbucks unveiled a new Toasted White Chocolate Mocha. And taking a cue from the popularity of non-dairy options, a Toffee Almondmilk Hot Chocolate. And if the Christmas Tree Frappuccino isn’t tree-y enough for you, you can head to a Starbucks Reserve location to try the new Juniper Latte.

If you’re really lucky, you might be able to snag any of these holiday-themed drinks for free thanks to one part of Starbucks’ Give Good campaign. Throughout the month, Starbucks employees will be handing out $1 million in gift cards at stores and events nationwide.
