The 57-year-old, who has been with her co-host Eamonn Holmes for 22 years, went to a an all-nude gym in London to see what the fuss was about.
After interviewing naked personal trainer Guy Levy, who insisted that being naked was the best way to work out "because there is nothing to hide," Ruth did some more digging.
She spoke to several naked women working out, who told her they didn't find it distracting having nude people by them when they get their sweat on.

Another woman said she found the biggest issue was the temperature, as the heavy air conditioning made her very cold.
But the shock of the session was Ruth deciding to join them in getting naked while lifting dumbbells.
She cheekily said: "If you can't beat them, join them.

"Do you know what? I'm enjoying this. I feel quite free and easy."
She then turned and asked her fellow nude gym-goers how she was doing, and they all gave her their seal of approval.
Eamonn clearly decided it wasn't for him, as earlier in the show, when Ruth was talking about the idea of getting naked at the gym, he looked seriously unimpressed.

Celebrity Big Brother star Ann Widdecombe also made it clear she wouldn't be taking part in the trends she put her head in her hands.
