Catt's appearance comes after she quit E! News because she found out her co-host Jason Kennedy was earning nearly twice as much as she.

The beauty was at the network for 12 years, and was very close to Kennedy - who she even referred to as her 'TV husband'.

The TV personality revealed in a statement on her website that she was leaving the network due to a 'massive disparity in pay' between her and Kennedy.

'An executive from E! brought something alarming to my attention — namely, that there was a massive disparity in pay between my similarly situated male co-host and myself,' she began.

'More recently, when E! reached out to renew and extend my deal, I learned that he wasn’t just making a little more than I was. In fact, he was making close to double my salary for the past several years,' she continued.

The single mother-of-two revealed she owed it to her fans and the people who watch her every day to explain exactly why she decided to leave.

Many of the female stars who attended the Golden Globes last Sunday, used their platforms to defend Catt.

'I was so shocked to hear that E! doesn't believe in paying their female co-hosts the same as their male co-hosts. I miss Catt Sadler and so we stand with her,' Will & Grace star Debra Messing told reporter Giuliana Rancic live on air.

'Time is up. We want diversity. We want intersectional gender parity, we want equal pay,' Messing told Rancic.

She added: 'We want people to start having this conversation that women are just as valuable as men.'

Flanked by Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman, Eva Longoria said: 'We support gender equity and equal pay and we hope that E! follows that lead with Catt as well.'

'We stand with you, Catt,' The Desperate Housewives star added.

Later Catt told Page Six, 'I am immensely grateful for the outpouring of support today. Thank you to Amy, Debra, Eva, Brie, Julianne and so many more women using their voices on behalf of us all.'
