Cat Deeley is pregnant - TV host celebrates after expressing fears on conceiving

The TV host, now based in LA, is thrilled with the news

TV presenter Cat Deeley is pregnant with her second child.

The 41-year-old, who is married to Patrick Kielty , 46, announced the news on Twitter on Sunday morning.

She delightedly wrote: "Over the moon to share that Milo is going to be a big brother! Can’t wait to be a family of four in the spring. We’re all so excited."

Cat, now based in LA, has made no secret of her desire for a sibling for two-year-old Milo.

She previously said: “I would love some more. But I have got to get on with it if I do. When you go for your check-ups they call you a ‘geriatric mum’. That is the terminology they use, I swear.

“They say, ‘Ma’am, you are triple high risk’.”

The former CD:UK host says Milo is “delicious” but adds: “I am awake all night listening out for him.

“I am checking he is breathing. I am depressed I will never sleep again.”

Cat recently opened up about her relationship with Patrick, admitting they were blind to the romantic spark they shared at first.

Cat and the Irish comic - who have been married to for five years now - famously tied the knot in Italy in secret, back in 2012.

However, their love-story was one that started off firmly rooted in friendship; and it would seem that neither of them could quite see the signs at first.

"It was quite knock-your-socks off for both of us," the TV favourite said of finding her happy-ever-after with Patrick.

"There were no more games and it all happened very quickly because we were older and comfortable in our own skin."

And tellingly it was their wider circle of pals who clocked it first: "A lot of our friends knew it would happen before we did, but I honestly had no idea.

"I wouldn't have wasted so much time! And thank God he happened to be around and that I hadn't missed him in the process."
