Altered Carbon turns up heat as former Neighbours bombshell bares all

FORMER Neighbours actress Dichen Lachman left little to the imagination during her appearance on new Netflix series Altered Carbon.

The Netflix venture is jam-packed with sexy scenes as the actors regularly strip off for romps.

The show centres around Takeshi Kovacs – played by Joel Kinnaman – a 22nd century rebel brought back to life in the future to find a killer of billionaire Laurens Bancroft.

He can be seen frequently getting his kit off after his character returns to life in a new body after 250 years.

Meanwhile, Neighbours actress Dichen Lachman – who plays terrorist Reileen Kalahari – stands completely naked, covered in blood as she is cornered by a guard.

The sex and nudity scenes in Altered Carbon have not escaped attention and many viewers have already taken to Twitter to comment.

One tweet read: “Jesus christ, Altered Carbon is like Black Mirror + sex,” one viewer wrote.

Another praised: “I am pleasantly impressed with Altered Carbon. Each episode is better than the other. Intense scenes, action, sex and life.”

“OK but the length of buildup to some of the sex in Altered Carbon was wild and did mean that I cheered when they happened,” a third confessed.

The first series was released on Saturday and it looks like it could be the next big thing.

The sci-fi thriller, set 300 years in the future, displays new technology that allows humans to transfer consciousness to new artificially created bodies – named sleeves.

This means some humans can essentially live forever, if they have the money to afford the technology.

The show is centred around an elite, interstellar soldier called Takeshi Kovacs – who is played by former House of Cards actor Joel Kinnaman.

He is the lone survivor of a group of warriors after they were defeated in an uprising against the new world order.
